When dates are you open?

We are open from the 1st March till 30th November.

What is the max number of people per pitch?

The max number per pitch/ unit is 6 people

Can I bring a commercial vehicle or van?

We do not allow commercial vehicles on site but you can park on the reception car park. If you want to bring a van please let us know in advance.

Can I park on my pitch?

Yes on Touring Pitches, no for camping pitches 1 to 15. Camping pitches 16 to 25 and the Dual use pitches  D1 to D28

What size are the pitches?

The Touring pitches are approx 11m x 11m. The camping pitches are 7m x 7m.The dual use pitches are 10m x 10m

What length of electric cable do I need?

We recommend the standard 25m electric cable for all pitches.

What Pegs would you recommend for hard standing pitches?

We recommend you use ‘ Rock Pegs’

What is the £10 cash deposit for on arrival?

The deposit is for the barrier fob we will issue each customer on arrival. This will allow you to open and close the barrier and open the toilet & shower block doors. This is refunded when you return the fob at the end of your stay.

How and when do I need to pay for my booking?

When you book your holiday we require full payment for bookings under £50.00 or, if the total cost is more than £50.00, a 30% deposit to secure your holiday. The balance is then payable 28 days before the holiday start date.

Failure to make payment by this time may result in your booking being cancelled.

There are a number of ways to pay your remaining balance:

Online: You are able to pay your remaining balance on our website, using Sage Pay secure, safe payment system

What do I do if I need to cancel a booking?

You may cancel your holiday at any time. Cancellation will be effective on the date it is received by us. However cancellation charges are payable as follows:

More than 100 days: Deposit only

50 to 99 days: 30% of total holiday cost

15 to 49 days: 50% of total holiday cost

14 days and under: 70% of total holiday cost

On the day 100% of holiday cost

If you have not arrived by 9am on the morning after your break was due to commence or contacted the Park to confirm when you will arrive, we will assume that the break is cancelled and the total holiday cost will be forfeited.

What do I do if I wish to make changes to my booking?

After you have paid your deposit you may wish to change some elements of the holiday, e.g. number of people or lead name. This can be done by telephoning us on 01526 353710. Substantial changes, such as a change of holiday date will be subject to an administration charge of £10 per alteration. It is not possible to change the dates with less than 24 hours notice.

What are the arrival and departure times?

All pitches must be vacated by 12.00 on the day of your departure otherwise an additional night’s pitch fee will be charged. You are requested not to arrive before 14.00. Latest arrival time is 20.00. Please advise us if you are likely to arrive later than 18.00. If we have not heard from you by 08.00 the day after you were due to arrive we will cancel your booking and we reserve the right to re-let your pitch.

It is sometimes possible to arrange earlier or later arrival/ departure times but this must be agreed in advance with the Park team.

What if I arrive late?

You are asked to inform us if your arrival time is going to be after 18.00. The latest arrival time is 20.00. If you arrive after 23.00 it will not be possible to drive onto the park until 7.00 the following morning. We do have a late night arrival bollard outside of the reception which would enable you to connect your electric up for the evening.

What do I do when I arrive at the park?

When you arrive at the Park, head for the Reception and our friendly team will be happy to check you in and then will direct you to your pitch. Please remember to have your £10.00 CASH deposit.

Special requests

If you have a special request regarding your holiday, i.e. close to toilet block, next to another party, particular pitch etc please advise us when making your booking and we will endeavor to meet your requests, however this cannot be guaranteed and is not a condition of booking.

General

Do you allow Pets?

Yes we do allow dogs and cats, other pets may be permitted at the discretion of the Park Manager.

If you bring your dog with you when you stay with us we ask that you:

Keep the dog on a short lead on the park at all times

Clean up after your dog

Do not leave your dog unattended at any time

We reserve the right to require that the owner removes their dog, or any other pet, from the park if it is a nuisance or danger to other guests. The following breads of dogs will not be permitted on the park American Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Fila Brasileiro, Dogo Argentino even if muzzled as required under current governmental legislation.

If you bring your cat when you stay with us please ensure they wear a bell whilst on the park.

There is a maximum of 3 pets per booking

Do you allow visitors?

If you have friends or family that would like to visit you whilst on holiday, we do ask that they visit reception to obtain a Day Pass. Please note Day Passes are subject to availability at the time of enquiry, as we can only offer Day Passes on dates where the park is not fully booked. Visitors are welcome between the hours of 9.00-21.00 and must park in the reception car park.

Do you allow BBQ/ Camp fires?

Yes, we allow charcoal and gas BBQ’s. Ground level barbeques are not permitted but if you have a disposable BBQ, bricks can be found in all bin areas to raise it off the ground. We do not allow open fires or fire pits on-site. The use of Fireworks or Chinese lanterns is not permitted on-site.

Can I Pitch how I like?

Caravans/ Motorhomes- To maintain an adequate fire safety gap and to be able to connect your grey waste directly to the drain, please position your car on the left of the pitch with your unit over the drain and your awning on the right hand side. Only one car per pitch, please leave any additional cars in one of the car park areas.

Tents- The campsite staff will instruct you on how/ where to set up on arrival

How do I book Fishing?

Fishing can be booked at the reception on arrival and at any time during your stay. You will be issued with a ticket for that day. The ticket will enable you to fish in all 3 lakes. Anyone wishing to fish must first show their licence to the reception staff and pay before setting up. Children must be supervised at all times around the lakes.

How do I give feedback?

We are always happy to hear your thoughts about the park and that you have enjoyed your stay. There is a comment book on the reception desk and you can you can also post reviews on UK campsite and Trip Advisor websites.

From time to time things can go wrong, if you are unhappy with any aspect of your holiday, please speak to the Park Reception team. In most cases they will be able to help you immediately so that you can enjoy the rest of your stay. However, if you are still dissatisfied, please ask to speak with the Park manager.

If, at the end of your holiday, you feel that we have not dealt with your complaint satisfactorily, please write to us at Woodhall Country Park, Stixwould Road, Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, LN10 6UJ no later than 28 days after the end of your holiday.

We are only able to take action on any complaints that are first brought to the attention of the Reception Team and the  Manager whilst you are on your holiday and secondly received in writing within 28 days, unless there are exceptional circumstances. It is necessary for Woodhall Country Park to impose these limitations so that we have the opportunity to solve the problems experienced fairly and effectively.

Are their Laundry facilities on site?

Yes there are. There is a washing machine, dryer and iron/ ironing board located in one of the toilet blocks. Tokens are available from reception.

Is there a children’s play area?

Yes there is, it is located behind Touring Pitch 73.

Do you have Wifi?

Yes, we do. The first hour per day is free & after that you can purchase a voucher directly on your device.
